UAQ: VAT Deregistration |
We facilitate deregistration of companies, institutions and entities registered as taxable person under value added tax with the Federal Tax Authority in Umm Al Quwain.

Turnover limits for Deregistration:
A business must deregister under UAE VAT if their taxable supplies for the last 12 month is less than AED 187,500.
Furthermore, a business may choose to deregister for VAT voluntarily if their taxable supplies for the last 12 month is less than AED 375,000.

A Registrant shall apply to the Federal Tax Authority for Tax De-registration in any of the following cases:
- 1. If he stops making Taxable Supplies.
- 2. If the value of the Taxable Supplies made over a period of (12) consecutive months is less than the Voluntary Registration Threshold and said Registrant does not meet the condition stipulated in Clause (2) of Article (17) of UAE VAT Law.

If the company opts for liquidation or cancellation of the license then respective companies based in or having license from following authorities should go for the deregistration under UAE VAT to complete the process of the company closure.
